Sunday Mornings With Zeke
It's been a tradition around our house for long before Zeke came into it. Every Sunday for the last 30 years or so, I head out to get donuts from Dunk's (Dunkin' Donuts for you non-New Englanders). Sick Puppy
Poor Zeke I spent the morning at the Cape Cod Vet Specialists in Buzzards Bay. Great set of vets, open 24/7/365, and they took very good care of Zeke when his leg got broken when he was three months old. This time, Zeke had been suffering from diarrhea for five days, so we did the usual and switched him over to a rice, pumpkin and chicken diet and waited for whatever he got into to run its course. Zeke's Daily Prediction
Every day, Zeke studiously awaits while I finish my second cup of coffee. As soon as I down the last gulp, he appears at my knee, reminding me that I need to brush my teeth. Sometimes he appears at my knee before I finish, and I hold up my cup and say "I still have coffee", to which he responds by retreating to his spot on the couch.
